We have our own alma maters not to give to.<\/p>\n<p>Why do sensitive people insist on telling everybody they\u2019re sensitive?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Why are<\/strong><\/span> we so nostalgic for mimeo machines? The smell, I guess.<\/p>\n<p>Why do so many Clevelanders brag about not reading the <em>Plain Dealer<\/em>? The paper is on life-support, yes, but still, it&#8217;s all we have. \u201cI\u2019ve lived in Cleveland 20 years and never subscribed to the <em>PD<\/em>.\u201d Go back to New York.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to talk about cars, first ask: \u201cDo you want to talk about cars?\u201d Same goes for sports and politics.<\/p>\n<p>What is preferable: \u201cHe passed away\u201d or \u201cHe passed\u201d?\u00a0 Neither. &#8220;He died.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>Don\u2019t let<\/strong><\/span> signs like THE SMITH\u2019S get you down.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why do eyeglass-frame adjusters have so much power over us?
