But we had a major problem &#8212; nobody wanted to be a sideman. Everyone wanted to be the star. The rabbi asked for comments from the congregation. I raised my hand and blabbed a bit about my days as a rocker. Most people at shul didn\u2019t know I was a rocker. I mentioned my A-hole manager. I said \u201cA-hole\u201d in shul.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m a sideman now. I accept that. We&#8217;re all sidemen. I mean, who\u2019s running this band?
