\nI design<\/strong> <\/span>vinyl records, mostly klezmer albums. I do everything, even the liner notes. Here are examples of bad liner notes — not<\/em> by me. Just to show you what bad is:<\/p>\n

A. \u201cOne [sic] the other side of the hall, a zedeh<\/em> and bobe<\/em> will spin in skeletal outlines the remembered steps of a tantz<\/em> (dance) that their parents taught them . . .\u201d<\/p>\n

B. \u201cThis is what happens when Rumshinsky\u2019s Theatre Bulgar is feed [sic] through Quincy Jones talking about Count Basie.\u201d<\/p>\n

C. \u201cThe drummer has appeared in duo and trip [sic] settings.\u201d<\/p>\n

Work with <\/span><\/strong>me. And when you do, adhere to the following guidelines:<\/p>\n

1. Don\u2019t name your tunes. I’ll name them. The first three tunes will be \u201cKick My Klezmer,\u201d \u201cHymietown Races Here We Come” and \u201cRomanian Shock #1.\u201d<\/p>\n

2. Don\u2019t title your album. I will. The title will be either Intravenous Klezmer<\/em> or 13 Jewish Hummingbird<\/em>s, depending on my mood.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

3. Use a pseudonym for one of the musicians in your band. This will make your recording more mysterious. Choose between M. Rogue Gemini, Danny Kay and Wayne \u201cDer Nister\u201d Carter.<\/p>\n

4. To bulk <\/strong>up the <\/span>bio<\/span><\/span> note, you need to visit your sister — or somebody — in Brooklyn. We’ll make you a genuine New Yorker.<\/p>\n

5. For the cover, we always use red. No silver, black or gray. We aren’t a car dealer.<\/p>\n

Some of our clients have been somewhat satisfied with our results.<\/p>\n
