Not at my gig, but at my video guy\u2019s gig. Did he get it on tape? I don\u2019t know. My video guy died.<\/p>\n<p>The video guy had a video rack which I called the Tower of Power. He barely budged from the rack the whole night. That bugged me.\u00a0For instance, when Yiddishe Cup strolled table-to-table taking requests, the video guy would tell me which tables to go to. Like \u201cCan you do the head table next?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I thought to myself, &#8220;Why should I do the head table next? I\u2019m in charge of this band.&#8221; I told him no.\u00a0The head table was nowhere near us, but it was near the Tower of Power. I said, \u201cWhy do you want me to go over there now?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>\u201cBecause I<\/strong><\/span> want to sit down,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Screw that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll remember this when you want a favor,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Then he died.
