He ran a bar in one of my buildings. I called, I wrote, I didn\u2019t get paid. Rob knew my dad.\u00a0 Rob and I went way back.<\/p>\n<p>I went to small claims on Rob. Did I have any choice? Rob got the letter from court, and called me: \u201cThe check is in the mail.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t mail it, Rob!&#8221; I said. &#8220;Hand it to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993366;\"><strong>He laughed.<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What&#8217;s so funny, Rob? I&#8217;m not a bank. I don\u2019t charge interest on the money you owe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat about the security deposit you\u2019ve had for 33 years?&#8221; Rob said. &#8220;What was it &#8212; $700?
